In cases where the walls are non-load bearing, as determined by the project Architect and the Engineer, you have some options of opening up the space so that light and air filter through to inner rooms. In this project we 'sliced' out some portions of the wall to achieve just that.

Please note that before any demolition of interior walls, you need to get approvals from the project Engineer and Architect (or relevant authorities). You may also need to consult building codes in your area to see whether it's allowed or not. Negligence may lead to compromise of structural elements, weakening of the structure and collapse of the building. This may cause damage to property and GOD forbid, injury to or loss of human lives.
